Dinner Last Night

Healthy meals don't have to be bland, take forever to prepare or require you to be a gourmet chef! Dinner Last Night is a collection of (mostly) healthy and easy to prepare breakfast, entree and snack dishes. Most recipes listed on Dinner Last Night are under 400 calories per dish and are made with real foods.  These meals helped me lose weight, keep it off and still feel satisfied!

Crowded Mind

Anna Nalick once wrote "If I get it all down on paper it's no longer inside of me, threatening the life it belongs to." Crowded Mind is my personal blog where sometimes I just have to spit out whatever is going on in my head whether it be something sociological, something to do with relationships, something to do with healthy living/exercise, something to do with growing and changing...it's all fair game here!

This Town

When I moved from Youngstown, Ohio to Boise, ID I had no idea if this would be a stop for a few years or somewhere that I'd like to stay for the rest of my life.  With it's vibrant Downtown, countless opportunities to be outdoors, college football at it's very best and other countless charms, it's no surprise why they call Boise and it's surrounding communities the "Treasure Valley." This Town is dedicated to unique things going in Boise.

Heard The World

Boise is also one of the most generous cities I've ever been to.  Through my job and other twists of fate, I've had the chance to get involved with charities like the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Girls on the Run and local child abuse prevention charities.  Heard The World is highlights the awesome work these charities do in our community.

The Wanderer

As much as I love Boise, sometimes I've got to get out and explore a little bit.  It may be a weekend trip to Colorado to see OAR perform at Red Rocks.  It may be a cross country trip to see family back in the Midwest.  It may be a quick venture up to McCall, ID for the 4th of July or Winter Carnival.  The Wanderer highlights my adventures.

Heaven

Oprah Winfrey once said "Running is the greatest metaphor for life because you get out of it what you put into it."  My life is chaotic to say the least, but the one thing that's solely in my control is training for a local 5K, 10K, half-marathon or marathon.  I may not be a state qualifying caliber mid-distance runner anymore, but it always feels like heaven underneath my feet while I'm running.  Heaven is a collection of stories about my training and racing, or what I like to call my own little piece of Heaven.

Professional

Sometimes life is funny and takes you places you never thought you'd end up in.  I wanted to be a veterinarian when I grew up, but through some crazy twist of fate I ended up falling in love with television broadcasting class in high school which led to a radio internship before I graduated.  I fell in love with radio during my internship and have been working in radio professionally for close to a decade at this point.  This page highlights my demo reels for on-air, voice overs and imagining production as well as cool things KSAS-FM in Boise has done.
